February 3rd, 2019

1145 NW 14th Terrace

Ronald McDonald House (RMH) located on the Jackson Memorial Campus is a home away from home for families who have a child receiving medical care at any of South Florida’s pediatric hospitals and who live more than an hour away from the hospital.  Families are asked to make a donation of $20 per night while staying at the house, but no families are ever turned away due to inability to contribute.

Amenities include a family kitchen, laundry room and family room as well as guest room.

The Adopt a Meal Program allows volunteers to make a home cooked meal for the families!

The LMSA SE Regional Conference community service team has reserved the date of February 3rd, 2019 to make breakfast for the families. Breakfast is served at 9AM, but volunteers should arrive at 8AM to begin preparations. Food will be prepared for 20 people.

The Ronald McDonald House can be reached by metro and there is also parking at a garage adjacent to the building (West Park Plaza) as well as metered parking.

This is an amazing opportunity to help out the community. After breakfast is served, volunteers can sit in the family area and have breakfast with the family. It’s important to note that RMH is unable to predict beforehand how many families or children will be at the house at that time.

Please note there is a maximum of 15 people per group.
